This wonderful Lockbridge Lodge offering one bedroom, one bath home with a large loft located in the Wild and Wonderful Summers County, WV, has sold. This home sits on 11+ acres and is very private and secluded. A small mini-farm!
There is a wrap-around deck that is perfect for watching and listening to all nature has to offer. There is a concrete 25×16 pavilion with electricity, a chicken coup, an outhouse, and a 10×16 outbuilding. All appliances and a Generator convey.
On the small balcony is an antique cast iron church bell ready to ring for supper time! My buyers were very lucky to get this property as the previous owner made $50,000 in improvements since 2017.
The improvements were a new water heater, metal roof, kitchen cabinets, washer/dryer, refrigerator, range/oven, microwave, shower stall, sink & cabinets on the main level, dehumidifier, sump pump; new electrical box, deck, and awning; cement apron/ramp for the storage shed, and a new driveway; chicken coop and outhouse. Also, a new wood stove was installed, as well as a privacy fence/gate at the driveway.
The buyers were from Ohio and are looking forward to summer to enjoy all the amenities on this property.

This property was a For Sale By Owner and my buyer and I just happened upon it when looking for lots in the Stonehenge Subdivision. Once I called the owner of the property to find out the sale price and did some research on the land, we started the negotiations. The seller agreed to a price but no commission to be paid. The buyer said fine that she would pay my commission. This was a cash deal! Both buyer and seller were happy. List price was $26,000 and sold for $17,500
This 5.58-acre lot was exactly what my buyer was looking for…. privacy, wooded lot, and close to town. About two miles to town. Another attribute was some land had been cleared as the previous owner was in the process of building on the land. The buyer is from Massachusetts and will be building a log cabin on the property.
Stonehenge Subdivision is close to town but not in town. This community offers exclusive homesites from two acres and up with wooded privacy and nature. Only five minutes from the historic town of Lewisburg, and ten minutes from the Greenbrier Resort. Living in this subdivision is the perfect getaway in the mountains without being “away”.

Working with these buyers was such a pleasure. We looked at three condos and they made an offer on the first condo. This couple from Roanoke, VA., was so easy to work with and every step to closing went smoothly. I wish every transaction was like this one. Below is a testimonial from the buyers.
“My wife and I were considering purchasing a condo at Snowshoe. The first realtor I contacted had been slow to respond, but Rebecca contacted me within minutes of receiving an email requesting information. She remained very helpful and quick to respond throughout the process, always happy to help and to answer questions as needed. Her advice was reliable and helpful. She made the entire process very smooth, easy and somehow… enjoyable. We consider ourselves fortunate to have found her and would not hesitate to recommend her.”
This family will be making great memories at the Snowshoe Ski Resort, Snowshoe, West Virginia.
