The proposed Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) is an underground natural gas pipeline. There is a 75 foot wide right of way for the pipeline crossing our land, plus 50 feet of a temporary right of way to be used during construction. After construction the land will be regraded and seeded. No one from the pipeline company or construction company will have any access to the land except through the right of way. There will be no above ground structures in the right of way. MVP needs to complete and get approval for a number of state and federal permits. We do not know the timeline for construction or completion of the pipeline.
