In the early 1970's, the owner deconstructed a 1855 log house in Frankford, WV and used the logs to construct this home. The current house has wood siding over the logs and the interior of the house exhibits beautiful large logs, hickory beams, and stunning posts. The upstairs floor is the original 1800's "puncheon" floor which piece together to form a perfect fit. At the entrance of the home, there is a vinyl floor covering that is not glued. Owner placed there to keep area cleaner. Floor is hardwood beneath the vinyl.
