HIGHLIGHTS
CABIN AND OUTBUILDING
Sawmill Ridge Retreat includes two vintage structures, one is a rustic unfinished cabin. The cabin is dry inside and appears to be solid. The cabin has a metal roof and lap wood siding. Inside is found an unfinished restoration project of stripped walls awaiting the next stage of work. A wooden staircase leads to the loft attic which will lend itself for many purposes in the future. The cabin has electric service in place, also there is a flue for heating stove.
The vintage barn has been standing for an exceptionally long time as has withstood the many years of the coming and goings of the seasons that are typical in the Allegheny Mountains. The timber frame barn has a metal roof and wood lap siding that needs immediate restoration.
