Renick, WV, is truly a revitalized community with a small town American feel. In the 1920s, the town was a boom town with logging and the river as the centerpiece. Now, the town is a wonderful Appalachian icon set along the banks of the Greenbrier River and hosts a community park adjacent to the Greenbrier River Trail, a 75 mile bike and hike trail. Renick has a public boat launch and good parking for bicyclists, kayakers, hikers.
Upon first glance, Renick appears as the quiet community along Rt 219 North. But lower Renick on Auto Rd is the old time community heralding a few original buildings and the restored Bank of Renick. RVs are welcome and Town of Renick is an active community welcoming folks to participate. Located ~20 minutes from downtown Lewisburg, Renick is a, easy drive with farmlands and mountain views.
