West Virginia Ranks #1 With the Highest Percent Homeowners

The Census Bureau has released the latest estimates from the American Community Survey. They have crunched the numbers and the rankings are in. Below are the top five states with the highest percent homeowners,

#1 West Virginia, Previously 72.3%             72.4%
#2 Maine, Previously 71.0%                         71.9%
#3 Minnesota, Previously 70.9%                  71.3%
#4 Iowa, Previously #7 at 70.7%                  70.6%
#5 Michigan, Previously #8 at 70.4%           70.3%

North Dakota saw the biggest percentage increase in percent homeowners at 2.5%, and Connecticut saw the largest percentage descrease at -2.1%.
